Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure that removes fat that you can’t seem to get rid of through diet and exercise.
It can help remove fat from the belly, inner and outer thighs, love handles, buttocks, back, arms, or face to improve their shape. Liposuction can also be combined with other plastic surgeries, like tummy tucks, arm lifts or thigh lifts.
Liposuction is not an alternative to weight loss, it is a way to get rid of those with areas of fat that won't go away with weight loss or exercise alone, offering you a way to a smoother, trimmer body

Liposuction and Fat Transfer
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that is done through a very minimal tiny hole incision through which the liposuction cannulas are inserted. Fluid is first injected into the areas to be treated to prepare them, this is then followed by aspirating the fat, then finally equalizing the area to smoothen the surface.
It is the art of sculpturing the body by removing the fat from unwanted places and redistributing it to other places to achieve the perfect figure.
This is done by processing the aspirated fat and transferring it back to the patient in other places by fat injection. This can be used to enlarge the breasts, lift the butt, or help create the perfect hip to waist ratio.
Liposuction can be combined with VASER technology which uses ultrasonic vibrations to break down the thick fat particles before liposuction. This can be helpful in treating areas like the back and the breasts in men.
After liposuction the treated areas tend to swell. This it prevented by wearing compression garments like corsets to decrease the swelling and the bruising. The corsets need to be worn for 4 to 6 weeks after the surgery.
The effect of liposuction is immediately noticeable after surgery, however the final result takes up to 3 months while the remaining swelling and edema subsides.
Liposuction is usually done without general anesthesia, local anesthesia with sedation is enough. Patients can go home on the same day of the surgery.
