Beauty Treatment

The cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, known as Botox®, is a purified protein injectable filler that is FDA-approved for the temporary treatment of frown lines. This simple, non-surgical injection is also commonly used to temporarily reduce or eliminate forehead creases, crow’s feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck.

The toxin blocks the nerve impulses, temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles, while giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance. Studies have suggested that botulinum toxin can also be effective in relieving migraine headaches, excessive sweating and muscle spasms in the neck and eyes.

Cosmetic Fillers are materials injected underneath the skin to make it fuller. After an injection, the plumper skin shows fewer wrinkles and looks younger.

Injectable cosmetic fillers have been around for decades. In recent years, medical advances have brought new versions of this wrinkle treatment to the marketplace. Newer cosmetic fillers are longer lasting, even semi permanent.

Sharkawy Clinics offer non-surgical options to soften these facial lines and restore volume and fullness in the face with the latest techniques in cosmetic injectable fillers. The use of cosmetic injectable fillers, also known as soft tissue augmentation, can plump thin lips, enhance shallow facial contours, soften facial creases and wrinkles, or improve the appearance of recessed scars.

chemical peeling

Chemical Peel, is a resurfacing technique that uses a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. Chemical peels are a way to promote the growth of a new layer of skin that is smoother and younger-looking.

It can also be used to treat pigmentation, scaring and acne. Dr. Dina selects the suitable type of peel for your facial needs.

platelet rich plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a plasma concentrate reaped from the patient's whole blood that comprises predominantly platelets. Numerous growth factors are present within platelet granules. The growth factors stimulate cell proliferation and differentiation. PRP was identified as having a beneficial effect on bone grafting with applications in oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopedic and cardiac surgery over ten years ago. More recently, increasing interest is seen in the application of PRP in dermatology, for example, skin rejuvenation, tissue regeneration, wound healing and fat grafting. It has also been shown to promote hair survival and growth.

Micro-Needling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that helps reduce the signs of aging, improve the appearance of acne scars and rejuvenate skin. The procedure is based on the skin’s natural ability to repair itself whenever it encounters physical damage such as cuts, burns and other abrasions. Micro-needling allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair ability by triggering new collagen synthesis. The result is smoother, firmer and younger looking skin.

fractional laser

Laser and light-based facial treatment, also known as facial laser resurfacing or laser skin treatment, can help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes and pigmentation, such as freckles and sunspots, through direct, short, concentrated, pulsating beams of light. Also known as lasabrasion, laser peel and laser vaporization, this skin resurfacing technique covers a wide range of skin problems including facial aging, age spots, pigment changes, redness and other conditions.

They also range in aggressiveness and downtime, depending on the laser- or light-based device used. Some treatments (non-ablative lasers) require no downtime while others, (such as the fractional CO2 laser) require some downtime.

laser treatment for small leg veins

Varicose Veins usually announce themselves as bulging, bluish cords running just beneath the surface of your skin. They almost always affect legs and feet. Visible swollen and twisted veins -- sometimes surrounded by patches of flooded capillaries known as spider veins -- are considered superficial varicose veins.

Varicose veins are a relatively common condition, and for many people they are a family trait. Women are at least twice as likely as men to develop them.

If you suffer from varicose veins or spider veins, you’re not alone. An estimated 30 to 60 percent of adults suffer from these embarrassing conditions that can make walking or standing difficult. Thankfully, Sharkawy Clinics offer the latest innovations in vein treatment for optimal results in your skin’s care.
